MASSAGE THERAPY

The practice of Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and joints of the body to enhance function, aid in the healing process and promote relaxation and well being.

A few benefits of Massage Therapy are alleviation of discomfort during pregnancy, post injury rehabilitation, lowers blood pressure, reduces swelling, provides greater joint flexibility, soft tissue elasticity and range of motion.

Massage Therapy melts away stress and tension, relieving associated headaches and muscular aches and pains. By encouraging the body’s own healing processes to act, Massage Therapy reduces injury healing time.

Massage Therapy aids in the healing process from injury or overuse, and is an excellent form of prevention health care.

ARTHROKINETIC THERAPY

LUMBAR SPINE LATERAL FLEXION (Care Bear Hug) is the best stretch to experience.  It helps increase blood to the disc and nerve root.  It helps reduce pain to the facet joint, muscles and fascia in the lumbar region.

ILIOTIBIAL BAND STRETCH  is amazing.  It helps stretch the IT band to help increase the length and releases tension.  Great for runners.

PASSIVE/RESTRICTED STRETCH stretches the femoral neck.  Helps to open hip flexors, and lengthens the illiacus muscle, in turn helps you gain better range of motion.

EXTENSION RELIEF helps reduce most lower back tension. This technique also helps stretch the hip flexors.

The goal of the ACTIVE/PASSIVE STRETCH for hamstrings is to allow blood flow into the restricted hip flexors. This helps allow forward rotation of the pelvis. It also helps reduce sacroiliac joint pain.
